OVERVIEW

OY VEY is a satirical recipe app inspired by my grandmother,
Nava; a witty, colorful character who loves to joke about her Polish roots.
The design draws directly from her world: textures from tablecloths,
bedsheets, fridge magnets, clothes, and her vibrant personality.

The app playfully celebrates tradition with a single recipe passed down through generations; Gefilte Fish. By combining nostalgic visuals with bold, joyful colors,
OY VEY transforms a classic dish into a modern, humorous design experience.
